Winery


Our first stop today was to the winery, Viña Cousiño Macul. It is the second oldest winery in Chile. It only makes two different wines with its more popular wine, Lota, selling for $150 a bottle. Over the years they had to change their process for better temperature control during the process of fermenting their wines. To the left is a picture inside the old fermentation room and that on the right is the one currently used.

We then took a tour down into their storage room where we got to see their private collection. The old storage room is no longer used due to the lack of proper ventilation yielding mold. Below are some of the pictures I took at the winery.
